Types of Tile
The two main types of tile are porcelain and ceramic. Both use inkjet printing technology to create a variety of high definition looks and designs. While each type offers high-impact style, there are a few differences that make them unique.
Porcelain
Safe for indoor and outdoor spaces, porcelain tile is waterproof and able to withstand colder temperatures. Porcelain is especially well-suited for high-traffic spaces, making it a stylish and durable option for wall and flooring tile projects.
Ceramic
From showers to backsplashes, ceramic tile is best suited for indoor applications, including walls and floors. Though more sensitive to temperature changes, ceramic tile is water-resistant and offers durability for high-traffic areas, just like porcelain.
