How do I choose the correct caulk?
Caulking is needed to fill any changes of plane or narrow gaps around the perimeter of your flooring, wall, or countertop installations. For kitchens and bathrooms, we would recommend a mold and mildew-resistant 100% silicone due to the moisture and water contact in these areas. An Acrylic or latex caulk is recommended when filling gaps around baseboards and wood materials not exposed to moisture regularly.
