What is a species?
Wood species identify the type of trees that wood is harvested from. Some of the most commonly used wood species for flooring include Hickory, Ash, Red Oak, White Oak, Maple, Birch, Eucalyptus, Locust, Hevea, Bamboo, Walnut, Acacia, Mahogany, Cork, Cherry, Beech.
