Mapei Flexcolor™ CQ: Innovative new grout product

Mapei Flexcolor CQ is a professional grade, ready-to-use specialty grout that is great for precision commercial and residential installations of porcelain, ceramic and natural stone tiles. It can be used to grout interior or exterior applications. It uses DropEffect® technology, which helps to prevent water-based stains by providing water repellency to the grout surface. Flexcolor uses quartz aggregate to ensure color consistency and is easy to apply and clean. It leaves little to no haze on the tile after the initial wash.

Plus, Flexcolor can re-bond over an existing installation, creating flush joints and easy touch-up of any damaged joints or tile replacement in the future.

Flexcolor is available in 26 colors and is packaged in one gallon and two gallon plastic pails with a flip-top resealable lid. Coverage is approximately 100 square feet per gallon, based on a 12″ x 12″ x 3/8″ thick tile with a ¼-inch grout joint. The one gallon coverage is comparable to a 10 pound bag of cement grout powder, and the two gallon coverage is close to a 25 pound powder bag.
